This is an Hindu yantra background theme page. Yantra literally means "Loom, Instrument or Machine." Ancient Indian scientists were believed to have built many Yantras(machines) for flying, warfare etc. Today, a "Yantra" usually refers to symbols that represent aspects of divinity, often the Mother Goddess. As a symbol, the yantra is an interlocking matrix of geometric figures, circles, triangles and sometimes floral patterns.
