This is a Native American border theme page, the graphics focus on the Native American sacred bear.  The bear has been a totem and powerful symbol for indigenous clans and tribes throughout the Northern Hemisphere.  In Native American tradition, every part of the bear is sacred, even the paw of a bear represents power and direction.  Depictions of bears and bear paws are often found on medicine sheilds, as shown in the art in this web set.  I suggest using this dark brown colored text as shown.

Bears hibernate in the winter, which may explain their association with "dreaming the Great Spirit" or retrospection.
