For personal use and
non-profit use (such as Girl Scouts, Red Cross or Temple Bet-El)
yes. Though donations
are wonderful! Remember any usage of my graphics requires acknowledgment of this
web site. If it is a web site or e-mail you are using the
graphics or clip
art on, then a live
link must be placed on the page where the graphics appear.
If the graphics
are used for a business or are being used for anything with the intention of
receiving money (on-line or off-line) then a donation is requested. The minimum suggested donation is $1 per
individual graphic or $10 per themed web set.
No.
Those are part of the set I designed exclusively for this site and is
part of my personal corporate logo.
Absolutely!
If you add a wonderful description or accolades to the text link I
will give you even more kudos! If you are substituting a text
link for a logo, the minimum requirement for the link is for it to be
at the very bottom of the page and no tinier than this:

Any that appear on
this web site. Pick one that suits your site. You may also
use a text link if
you prefer. Here is a generic one for you to save and use if you
like:
Put this into your .html file. Be
sure to change the items in green to
reflect the image you are using for the logo!

Certainly, under three conditions:
- That you are using this as the design for your business
card and not as a registered logo.
- That you are gracious and make the requested minimum $10 donation.
- That on the back of your business card, in tiny print
appears:

I
take it as a compliment that you would like to. Please be sure,
at the bottom of the email to place a live text or logo link to my
site.
E-mail
me about the exact graphic you wish to have. If I agree
to
you acquiring the specific design the charge will be $200 for me to
take that graphic off my site for your use. I have no way of
knowing who else may have already used the graphic and therefore you
have no control over it being seen elsewhere. In general, the
best plan if you need to have a graphic for you business that is unique
and exclusively yours, is to have it custom designed. I do custom
logos.
Oh thank you!
If you wish to donate money on-line
you can use Pay Pal. Just go to PayPal.com

I
request a nominal donation for
commercial application of my graphics. If the graphics are
used for a business or are being used for anything with the intention of
receiving money (on-line or off-line) then a donation
is requested. The minimum suggested donation is $1 per
individual graphic or $10 per themed web set.
I do not watermark my graphics or go after you legally if you do not
donate, this is strictly on the honor system. But I do think of
it as artistic shoplifting if you don't acknowledge the source
of the graphics.
Please send me an e-mail. In the subject
line please put the exact URL
the graphic is on such as: graphics.elysiumgates.com/angel8.html
In the body of the e-mail, type the word "title graphic:." Then please
spell exactly what you wish the graphic to say. If you want it
all in capital letters, type it all in capital letters. If you
want it with initial caps, type it with initial caps. It would
also be appreciated if you include the URL you will be placing this
graphic on. I respond to these requests on an "as I get to it
basis." Sometimes that is very long (six months or more)
sometimes fast. I always do the requests from those that also
made a lovely donation
(what nice people!) very quickly.

99%
of the computer generated part of
my graphics (I do a lot of art off the computer, then scan it in) is
done by a wonderful and inexpensive suite of programs created by XARA,
a company based in England. If you browse the site today
but decide to buy any of their programs later, please come back to this
page and use the link below. I will get a nice credit from
XARA for making you so happy!
Try out the award-winning
graphics software from Xara. Xara offers a
graphics creation solution for all skill levels, from the
template-based web graphics package Xara Webstyle, to the supremely
fast illustration and photo composition tool Xara X¹. There’s also
a dead easy NavBar & Menu creator and a nifty 3D screensaver maker.
What they all have in common is a user interface your granny could use,
and top quality graphics output... and a great value price. |

me about the exact web set you wish to have. If I agree
to
you acquiring the specific web set the charge will be $200 for me to
take that theme off my site for your use. I have no way of

I'm
so glad you asked!
Created by Crystal Cloud Graphics, Elysium Gates
is a web hosting service that I've designed. The service focuses
on making the world a better place. The ambience of the site is
the perfect place to host a spiritual, religious or esoteric web
site! Economical rates for both personal and commercial
sites. There is no advertising on the site and a portion of the
monies that are paid by subscribers goes to charitable causes that
members select themselves. I've had fun with this site creating a
Greek theme so that members can socialize in a cyber world of Greek
mythology when and if they would like to.
If
the logo is going to be trademarked, that design would start at $350, a
non trademarkable design (I keep the copyright) starts at $150.
Please
e-mail me about the exact
nature of the animation for an estimate. As a rule of thumb I
charge $60 per hour for original animations. Some animations take
fifteen minutes, others can take hours.
I
charge a minimum of $350 for a
unique web design, that includes, background, title graphic, buttons,
divider bar etc. Price varies according to the complexity of the
graphics and if java, animation, shopping carts and other elements are
involved. E-mail me with specifics for a more accurate estimate
of cost. This gives
you exclusive usage of the graphic design.
After
you have your graphics and design, more decisions to make. Do you
want to actually create the HTML for the pages and maintain them...do
you want me to create the HTML and you maintain them, do you want me to
maintain them?
Of
course writing the HTML (including META tags, etc for search engines)
yourself, and maintaining your own site is the cheapest; but there is a large
learning curve to be dealt with. To
actually build the web
site, input text, link pages, code it for search engines and guide a
client in what text to have on pages, etc. costs $45 per page ($25/page if not a
commercial site). Some
pages are standard for all web sites (though unique in format/design)
such as: links, contact, bio, and error pages, those
are $25 each. I also can maintain a
site. Cost is $25/hr.
Many
of the sets have a .zip file to download, that has an HTML 4 template and
the graphics to insert your information into. The template
has been stripped of my information, text and URLs but has the
formating in place. For those sets that still do not have a
.zip file (I'm working on doing them all) you can save the complete
file including
the HTML template of the themed page. Using IE, click on
the page and then click "save as"...there should be an option in IE for
you to save the HTML file and all the graphics at the same
time.
Then download NVU
if you don't have a copy. After you
install it, you will be able to edit any HTML on your hard
drive. Open the .html
page you saved from my site. It will look like my page, now
edit
the text etc however you need it to look. The title graphic
you
will need to edit in something like XARA or ask me to do it.
In the "Source" tab of NVU, change all the META tags to reflect your
site. Rename the .html file to index.html Make sure
all the
file codes on the HTML do not ask for graphics from your hard drive or
my site but are relative tags. FTP or upload all the graphics
and
the HTML to your site.
PLEASE
never, ever, ever use Front Page or Microsoft Office to
create
your web pages! The coding is horrid and can't be read
correctly
on many browsers. The NVU editor, that is
free is
fairly decent. I use it and do hand coding on Edit Pad.
For further
information on how to
create your web pages and work specifically with the templates on this
site, see the extensive tutorial
I created.

My business is very tiny so I have no full
time employees. I do occasionally vet out work when I get
overloaded. I usually pass those jobs on to people who are web
artists and volunteer their time at Elysium
Gates. This allows me to get to know them and their
work. Click here
if you wish further information.
This
refers to how a website codes their HTML. There is a way to code
the HTML so that the graphics are not in the same file as the web site
HTML, but instead only "appear" on a site but actually reside in my web
site's folder. This is called bandwidth "stealing." It
costs me money and slows my site down.
Some came from programs I've bought such
as
Corel Draw and XARA. Some came from free font sites on the
net. Many of the most lovely fonts I use can be purchased from my
favorite on-line computer font company, P22
Type Foundry.
NO! You may place a logo or
text link on your site and recommend that visitors browse this

another collection or offer these graphics in any format for others to
use!
