This
is a
Celtic Christian themed design I created based on Saint Patrick
and the Celtic cross. St. Patrick's Day is now
associated with everything Irish, from the colour green to shamrocks,
good luck to Guinness! However the color of Saint Patrick
traditionally is blue and the Christian religious purpose of Saint
Patrick's Day is for spiritual regeneration and offering prayers for
missionaries worldwide. Patrick was a missionary who worked
for 40 years in Ireland, preaching, baptizing, and establishing
churches, schools and colleges. History reports that he used
shamrock leaves to explain the meaning of the Trinity. There
is a legend of how St. Patrick when preaching to some soon-to-be
converted heathens was shown a sacred standing stone that was marked
with a circle that was symbolic of the moon goddess. Patrick
made the mark of a Latin cross through the circle and blessed the stone
making the first Celtic Cross.
Above you see a sample of how a web page title could be inserted into
the St. Patrick image created for this set. A blank of
the
title
clip art is in the .zip file
below. If you don't have a graphic program capable of
doing that, e-mail me and I
will do it for you as time allows. Below you will find the
celtic
JHS graphic divider and PAX bullet designed for this page.
The
Celtic cross text buttons are designed for this page and are linked for
this site so that you can navigate through it.
The
above
title bar and buttons use the font "Celticmd"
To save,
you may download the .zip file
which
includes the Saint Patrick graphics, clip art, instructions and
HTML
template. Do not link to the graphics on this page!
Please note that this set is free to use on personal websites only
(donations are always appreciated). Those sites that hope to
generate income (business site) there is a one time $10 minimum
requested donation payable through Pay Pal.
Whether
it is a commercial or personal web site, a text link to this
site MUST appear on all pages you use these designs on. Below
is a suggested format:
